The top lane typically takes on more of a utility tank focused champion, and the mid lane takes on an AP focused champion. The Top laner and Mid laner champions will typically differ in playstyle. Each team has 5 players, 1 in the Jungle, 1 in the Top Lane, 1 in the Mid Lane and 2 in the Bot lane. This player is typically tasked with helping other lanes to secure kills and battling monsters in the Jungle. Between the lanes is the Jungle, filled with monsters that give the player XP once slain.
